When I learned that Interior Designer Kathy Greeley created a Canine inspired table for the Lennox Hill Spring Gala in New York recently, I just had to check it out.

You see, Kathy Greeley of Noland Interiors literally wrote the book on the art of setting an elegant table: The Collected Tabletop.

Anchoring the Bone Appétit theme was a table cloth Kathy created using Eric Cohler’s Unleashed fabric for Lee Jofa.

Does it look familiar? You may recognize the fabric from a post about Eric here.
To give the table height, Dog topiaries were used for the table’s centerpiece.

The Chihuahua, Westie and Poodle topiaries were given Dog collars and Best of Show ribbons made of pompom mums.
Greenpiece Wire Art makes a kennel full of Dog topiaries in a variety of breeds that are available mossed, ready for planting. (The Dogs are also available in wire form.)
The Dog design details continued at each place setting with Dog bone print napkins trimmed with herringbone.

Kathy buckled leather Dog collars around the napkins and used fetching, branch inspired flatware.

What’s a party without a favor?
A boxed bottle of Dog wine, from the House of Mutt Lynch Winery, was a delicious treat to find at each place setting.

The award-winning winery with the whimsical Dog labels has always supported animal rescue organizations so it was the perfect selection.

Later, I’ve got to let the Dog out,
Thanks to Brooke Wallace at Tobi Fairley Interior Design for the tip!
Drop me a line if Y O U know of a Dog Design that should be featured on the Interior Design Hound.
