I’ll admit it.
I’m a Magazine Hound.
I love flipping through the pages of magazines again & again. Magazines are great for inspiration, no matter the subject, and I covet my vintage magazine collection.
My radar is always seeking good design with a Canine twist hiding in the pages of magazines.
With the dawn of the digital age I’m really a lucky Dog!
Online magazines, or e-zines, offer another way to find inspiration with a fresh point of view.
The latest issues are a delight for Dog lovers, Interior Design and Fashion Hounds.
The latest Lonny Magazine featured Caroline Robert’s New Orleans home.
Caroline has three Dogs and owns a wonderful home décor, design and antique store called Perch located on historical Magazine Street.

The store’s charming in-house Dog belongs to Perch manager & Interior Designer Jack Mayberry.
Another Dog fancier (Cholo the Caviler), and blogger (The Visual Vamp), Valorie Hart also works her design magic at Perch. It is NOT possible to have anything but a good time while shopping there!
Another favorite e-zine, Matchbook, bills itself as a Field Guide To A Charmed Life.
While you flip through the 183 pages of Matchbook’s latest issue, you’ll spot several Dogs.
How can you not fall in love with the face of this fashion Studio Hound?
Carol Dronsfield managed to capture the essence of the stylish Havanese, aptly named Fidel, in her photography for Matchbook. (Check out the barking Dog Carol has on her site here.)
The Havanese owns the heart of designer Amanda Pearl Brotman.
You might have seen Amanda’s fashion accessories before, because they make frequent appearances on the pages of fashion magazines and on many a celeb.
Besides her Dog Fidel, my favorite Carol Pearl accessory is the Alessia Clutch.
So many magazines, so little time…
Later, I’ve got to let the Dog out,

Taffy, our charming
