Summer’s here and it’s HOT.
My Scottish Terrier & I don’t take the heat very well when its sizzling outside.

Taffy has black fur and absorbs the heat quickly, while I have to slather myself with SPF 110 so I don’t look a lobster.
You’d think we lived in the tropics, but we’re land-locked…quite a distance from the nearest beach.
If we did live near the ocean we’d be diving in the water to cool off, right about now.
Well, this Interior Design Hound can dream anyway.
Until we can get our paws in the sand, we’ll just have to live vicariously through Barney & Mollie, Stuart Membery’s two “Designer Dawgs.”
Bali, Indonesia. Not a bad place to spend the summer, is it?
Stuart Membery is the King of summertime blues and his studio’s tropical location is clearly reflected in his Home Collection.
His signature look is a sophisticated, tropical style that is rooted in the past.
Classic British Colonial & Plantation materials are used in Stuart Membery’s designs creating a modern beach aesthetic with mahogany, rattan and wicker.
Membery’s relaxed and livable designs are perfectly Pet Friendly.
Membery’s Golden Retrievers look right at home surrounded by the cool blues found in the denim, batik and cabana striped fabrics.
Even the Dog’s water bowl is tropical…
Looks like life’s a real beach for Stuart Membery’s Dogs!
Later, I’ve got to let the Dog out,
