In addition being one of the world’s oldest art auction houses, Christie’s is also a “luxury real estate specialist worldwide.”
Christie’s successful luxury real estate service has just expanded their market…
The auction house has gone to the Dogs.
It’s only natural that Christie’s should include the same caliber of homes for four-legged friends in their real estate portfolio, right?
Christie’s will feature the unique architectural gem of a Dog House seen above in their Interiors: Style & Spirit Auction to be held on July 5, 2011 in London.
Details make the difference when it comes to design and Dog Houses are no different.

Here’s the auction catalog’s description:
A large French painted wood and gesso Dog Kennel, Late 19th, early 20th century. Of architectural form, with an arched entrance on a stepped plinth. 49” high; 59.5” wide; 27” deep.
The Dog House is roomy enough that Taffy could invite a few of her friends over!
I don’t think she’ll hold her breath though…
Christie’s has placed an auction estimate of $3280 to $4920 on the Dog Castle.
Later, I’ve got to let the Dog out,

Taffy, our charming
