Is it just me, or are things getting a little nutty lately?
Seriously, I’m seeing nuts everywhere…
especially acorns.
My Dog is a Fashion Hound when it comes to collars, so I have to get my hands on this acorn Dog Collar.
Acorn Dog Collar & Braclet. Tamara Comolli
I think I’ll pick up the bracelet for myself.
The International Style Hound Tamara Comolli designed both the acorn Dog Collar and the bracelet.
You might say that Tamara is the undisputed Queen of acorns. The jewelry designer’s collection of Dog Collars, created for Germany’s leading maker of Dog accessories: Hunter, is a perfect pick for Fall.

Tamara Comolli’s couture details can be seen in every stitch & dangling acorn on the Dog Collars. The acorns very in color from amber to a nut brown. A few are even covered Swarovski crystals.
Très chic for chasing squirrels, don’t you think?
Wherever you find acorns, you’re sure to find a few squirrels. Wherever there’s a mere scent of a squirrel:
there’s a Hound that’s ready to rumble.

This Wheaten Terrier weathervane is so beautiful I’d keep it in the house!
Each Dog weathervane is a work of art made in a studio in the Santa Cruz Mountains by West Coast Weathervanes.
Hand-hammered in copper with gold leafed patterns, the weathervanes can be personalized with your Dog’s name inscribed on the Dog Collar.

West Coast Weathervanes specializes in Dogs and has quite the lineup of Dog breeds in their collection.
Don’t worry if you don’t see one that looks like your four-legged friend, because the artists are happy to make custom weathervanes from your photograph.
Does your Dog dream about chasing squirrels? Taffy, sure does…

So when I saw this Forest Park Dog Bed created by the Design Hounds at Unleashed Life, I just had to smile!
Not only is the seersucker Dog bed cover washable, but the comfy cushion is odor resistant made from recycled pop bottles. There’s certainly nothing squirrely about that, is there?
While my Dog is a card carrying member of the Squirrel Patrol, I know Taffy wouldn’t sit still to wear this tee…

I can barely get my Scottish Terrier to wear a coat in the rain & snow! The eco-friendly design is made of an organic cotton & bamboo blend.
What do you think, could I turn it into a pillow, maybe? Okay, maybe I’m nuts.
But I might just have to add this colorful number by Classic Hound to Taffy’s collection of Dog Collars:

My favorite, nutty designer Jonathan Adler has loads of squirrels in his collection….

I’m sure his Dog Liberace, a Terrier mix, had something to do with Adler’s squirrel obsession.
While Adler’s squirrel clutching the acorn ring box has always been a favorite design of mine, I’m also a fan of his candle holders:

Since I have a black Dog hunting down black squirrels, I’m a fan of like the black candle holders.
It doesn’t really matter if your Dog qualifies for the squirrel patrol, designers and Dogs have literally gone nuts this season…

Later, I’ve got to let the Dog out –
she sees a squirrel,
